My Websites

but I’m busy, busy, busy so I’m not here.  *smile*    I’m watching my two year old twin nephews (yesterday and today) while my sister works.  Tomorrow is our annual review for the boys’ schoolwork so I’ve been trying to gather together everything I need for that.  I’m also throwing a little review party at the same time.  Nothing fancy, just hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and homemade vanilla ice cream.  The boys drank all the whole milk (can’t make the ice cream without it) so I have to run to the store to pick that and a few other things up for tomorrow.

I do have new things to post, additions to Quinn’s Spring Lapbook, new nature journal pages and such…I just don’t have the time to get the information together and post it.  Friday I have to get Quinn’s lab work completed for his upcoming visit next week to his endocrinologist so it looks like Saturday will be my first free day and hopefully I’ll get the new stuff up.

Our pots are starting to sprout!!!

I’m back up and running. I have a new hard drive and more RAM and hopefully with the new 500 gigabye boot drive I won’t run out of room anytime soon. *smile* I’m still reinstalling programs and trying to track down missing items from the old drive. My computer will only hold two drives inside (plus I have two backup drives…yes, I know that’s a lot of drives but the graphics that I create are huge and I need a lot of room for them and the programs that I use to create them!) so my dear sweet husband attached my old boot drive to his computer so I could find the programs as needed. So far reinstalls are fairly painless and thanks to my very organized husband, I am finding the serial numbers with the disks…he’s placed everything in alphabetical order in nice cd binders.

Thanks, sweetheart! I love you.

Michael is working on it as time permits.  I don’t know how long it will be before I’ll be up and running…hopefully not long!

I’ve finally updated Dani3D.com. I love my little spring girl I just created so I decided to use her here too, to coordinate Artful Thoughts and Dani3D.com. Everything looks very…Spring-y!

There’s not too many images in the gallery yet as I’m having a bit of a problem trying to figure out how it works. I’m sure I’ll be tweaking it for a couple of days.

I had a few minutes this evening and opened up Poser and Photoshop and created a new top image and matching graphics. That’s a little nest with a bright blue egg on the right side…hard to see, I know. This one may not last too long. I do wish I had the time, inspiration and energy to redo Dani3D.com and update FaeFolk.com…mostly inspiration. PixelPaintedGraphics.com is up for renewal in 2 months and I may just let that domain expire since I have not pixel painted anything in a while…my poor websites are so neglected!

UPDATE: Just forced my hand by putting up a temporary index page on Dani3D.com…maybe now I will create that gallery I’ve been wanting to do to showcase my art plus update FaeFolk.com with a new image and clipart…maybe! *smile*

Please keep my cousin, Wanda, in your prayers. She is in the hospital with a serious ailment.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Prayer for the Sick
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep.

Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest your weary ones.
Bless your dying ones.
Soothe your suffering ones.
Pity your afflicted ones.
Shield your joyous ones.
And for all your love’s sake. Amen.
~ Saint Augustine ~

Tiny HandsI updated CatholicGraphics.com with the Lenten graphics (PSD/Clipart) that I created for here on my blog. Also added Laundry Day to Art Work…it’s been a very long time since I updated any of my websites. Dani3D.com is due for a major makeover…I accidently deleted all the master image/html files for the website so I’ll have to start again from scratch with a new design.

We may get more snow today. We have a homeschooling co-op class this afternoon.  Mrs. Dawn will be teaching the children about poetry.  I hope Quinnie lets me stay and listen.  Probably not though because he sure does love “reading” books in the library and playing with all the cool things that they have for the little ones.  *smile*

Lenten Reflections

2
In you, LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your justice deliver me;
3
incline your ear to me; make haste to rescue me! Be my rock of refuge, a stronghold to save me.
4
You are my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead and guide me.
5
Free me from the net they have set for me, for you are my refuge.
6
2 Into your hands I commend my spirit; you will redeem me, LORD, faithful God.
Psalm 31:2-6

got a makeover this morning. If you get a chance to visit, please let me know if you find any broken images. I”ve decided to just showcase my digital art here though I will still offer freebies on my other websites…if I ever get around to updating them! *smile*

I’ve updated my top graphic. I love my mailbox and bicycle but wanted to play a bit and change it to something new. This is much easier and more fun than changing whole websites. *smile*

July Offerings Up

July graphics are up at my websites.

I’ve updated CatholicGraphics.com with new Holy Cards.

I had a bit of trouble when I imported both blogs from Blogger. Seems that it messed up some coding on the pages in the archives and also blanked out the table graphic so the posts couldn’t be read. I deleted everything and just imported Dani’s Daily Thought. I’ve decided to keep Dani3D.com - Art Blog, continue to upload my daily art there and provide a link here…I also like the way Blogger manages the images better than WP.

I did categorize everything (AGAIN!) but didn’t touch the formatting of the posts so things that should be centered, aren’t but it is all readable in both Firefox and Internet Explorer now. At least I hope so!

Cade and Connor

I threw my back out on Friday. It’s from picking up Quinn (who is over 50 lbs. now). I could feel it going out for awhile but I was hoping that I would be able to continue with some modifications. Didn’t work because Quinn needs help getting in and out of the car, stroller, etc. I’ve been doing the ice/heat treatments but so far it’s not healing as quickly as I would like. I really miss my walking!

I used my downtime over the weekend to figure out how to create this blog. Poor Michael! It wasn’t much of a Father’s Day for him but at least he did amuse himself by calling me his “brokeback” wife. Not sure why he thinks that’s so funny, but he does. *smile* I was really happy that I was able to import all of my content from my Blogger blogs…now I’ve got to go back re-edit them because importing messed up the format.

My sister and her family are down the ocean this week. Praying that Erich gets well quickly (he has a double ear infection) and that the weather is nice for them and that all have a good time. Don’t forget to bring me back some fudge!
