Revisiting some old links hiding in my Favorites/Bookmarks, because you can never have too many (or enough) fonts!

A couple of my oldies…Fisher’s Women and Victorian Angels and I’m offering this font, State Birds, created by Character and placed into the public domain…because I can’t find it online anymore and as a bird lover I wanted others to have access to it.

I don’t obsess quite as much about fonts these days as I did when I made them in the late 1990’s - early 2000’s but I still like to collect them. You can use them in your artwork, for hybrid or digital scrapbooking, papercrafting, and homeschooling. Some of my favorite places to browse are Dafont, typOasis, FamousFonts, and Amanda’s Scrapbooking Fonts.

While working on creating some printables for Quinn’s January theme “Animals of Winter,” I wanted to find a decorative snowy/icy font and found a bunch of really nice ones at Dafont.

Olive Cheese Bread at The Pioneer Woman Cooks! I made Marlboro Man’s Second Favorite Sandwich (with chicken and peppered bacon) for the boys yesterday and they loved it.
My Country Living, Martha Stewart Living and Country Home magazines are piling up a bit but I’m getting caught up with my reading while the boys swim. Country Living recommends some great crafty blogs…

Sean, Cade, and Connor were crazy about Pokemon when they were little. I created the above graphic of a gameboy (I think it’s an old gameboy) and because at the time I was also making fonts I created a little font called Pika, Pika. The twins would crawl up on my lap and we would listen to sound files of Pokemon, Blue’s Clues and Little Bear that we found on the internet. I still have the wav files. Just remembering…
