Happy Birthday Hanna & Ellie & papercrafting…
Posted by Dani under Digi-Scrapping , Family , Homeschooling , Lapbooking , Paper Crafts , WinterYesterday was my twin nieces, Hanna and Ellie’s, seventh birthday. Happy Birthday girls!!!

I made them each a card and envelope…wasn’t too hard (I cheated and bought some card and envelope templates at ScrapGirls.com) and it was a lot of fun. I wish I had bought more supplies…ribbons and things but I think they turned out very nicely. I used my own artwork, some digital scrapbook papers, embellishments and printed it on photopaper, matte finish, for the cards and cardstock in a matching color (plus I printed the same pattern that I used for the front of the cards on the envelopes) for envelopes.
This is Ellie’s card with my little Strawberry Shortcake. In the background you can see a bit of Quinn’s Winter(scrap)Lapbook with the frost page.

And here is Hanna’s with my little Blue Butterbaby fairy. The Snowflake page that I created in Photoshop for Quinn’s lapbook (matching and big and small concepts) is just behind it.

I need to practice a bit more (and buy some more ink!) before I start creating all of my cards. Papercrafting is fun, relaxing and a bit challenging trying to figure out how to feed the paper back into the printer so it prints correctly on both sides. *smile*
