I’ve been giving some thought as to what is going to go into Quinn’s Winter Lapbook. Some ideas I’ve been mulling over are:

• a color spectrum of blues
• snowflakes - large and small, alike and different
• frost
• pictures of Quinn putting on his coat by himself
• Quinn dressed for winter
• playing in the snow-hopefully!
• animals in winter-feeding the birds and squirrels
• dead trees
• songs and poems
• Jack Frost
• winter holidays
• snowmen
• Jan Brett’s books - The Hat, The Mitten
• polar bears and penguins
• Candlemas and the end of the Christmas season

Planning sometimes can be overwhelming because at first I want to cover everything. *smile* I think his Christmas lapbook turned out very nicely…now if only I can do as decent as a job on this one.
